Priya Arora's Biography

Priya Arora was born and raised in India. Although she has lived in the United States for over twenty-five years, she has never forgotten her roots and deeply cherishes her ancient heritage. Priya graduated from Oxford University with a degree in English Literature in 1988 and worked with an international bank in her home country for some years before moving to California.
When a personal crisis interrupted her uneventful life, it sparked her interest in Vedic philosophy. Finding this knowledge life-changing in overcoming her emotional turmoil, she began studying it in great depth. the Vedas contemplate universal harmony, unselfish action, ethical conduct, mindfulness, and the reality of the innermost conscious self. This age-old philosophy is brilliantly dramatized in Valmiki's Ramayana and prompted Priya's first book, Rama, A Man for All Ages.
Priya is married and has three children, including a precious French Bulldog called Humphrey.
